She has taught for several international universities like Edith Cowen university, Australia, Cardiff metropolitan university, London and University of Western Scotland. She has played an active role in the development of curriculum and module content for various finance courses. She started her career as a junior lecturer in LokamanyaTilak College, Hyderabad in the year 2002 and thereafter pursued her teaching passion in reputed organizations like New Horizon College, International School of Business & Media.

She earned her doctorate in finance from Bharathiar University. Her research concentrated on the micro credit utilization among the self-help group members in Tumkur district, Karnataka. She is also currently associated with some microfinance organizations as a consultant. She has conducted several workshops and training programs for bankers in reputed national banks like Bank of Baroda and Union Bank of India. She has published several research papers and case studies in national and international journals as well as in conferences.
